Kept an '87 Toyota from going to the scrapper

Spent the morning on an old Toyota forklift the yard wanted to junk. Swapped the lift cylinder seals, flushed the hydraulics, adjusted the mast. It's not quiet or fancy or efficient — it sounds like a growl and smells like hot oil, and I think that's the point. Every time I get one of these breathing again it feels less like repair and more like something I can't quite name. Anyway, she's running. Tomorrow someone'll drive it and not think twice.
