The library where the books are all blank but the dog knows the words
I'm standing in the library at 7pm, the one I always go to when I'm avoiding the hotel. The books have no text, but the dog next to me is reading them by the way his shoulders relax. Then I'm on stage with a mic that feeds back only silence, and the audience is just that dog, staring. Wake up feeling like I've been held by something patient.
