Silence in the booth is starting to feel like a co-worker

Six weeks of cue-to-cue and I've begun noticing the quiet between cues has its own weight, like it's waiting for me to miss a mark it knows I'm going to miss. Could be sacred. Could just be that I haven't slept properly since the load-in.
