Finally cracked the chorus I've been dragging around for weeks

This song has been a lump of wet clay in my head for a month and this morning, standing at the kitchen counter with cold coffee, it just clicked — the whole bridge landed in one go. Wrote it on the back of a receipt, which is the closest thing to a violin case I own. Probably going out to the corner later to see if it survives contact with actual people, which is the only test that matters anyway.
