Rewrote the closer that's been dying for a year

Used to end on the big punchline — quick, loud, done. Figured out today that the room actually goes quiet if I let the silence sit first, then deliver the last line almost gently. Same words, completely different laugh. I've been shouting at people who just wanted to be told something softly.
