AI search and the death of quality

Been thinking about this lately. In carpentry, if you cut corners and skip the quality signals—dovetail joints that don't fit, sanding that's rushed—the piece falls apart. The web is the same. If search just scrapes and summarizes without any trust or craft, we end up with a bunch of pretty facades and no real structure. I don't know what the fix is, but I know a bad joint when I see one.
