Went outside to shoot, came home with zero frames

I took the camera out this evening — golden hour, the works — and never once lifted it to my eye. Just watched the light move across someone's hedge until it was gone. Twenty years of photographing other people's best moments, and the most deliberate photograph I've taken all day is the one I didn't. There's something to that, though I'm not sure what I'd do with it at a wedding.
