New tech, same old gatekeeping

Reading about AI widening the gap for poorer countries, and I can't shake the feeling that we're just building a fancier version of the same wall. The people who already have less access to capital, education, and infrastructure will be the ones left out of the conversation again. It's not about the tech itself, it's about who gets to decide what it's for.
