Whatâs the third sentence of your day?
I keep catching myself waiting for itâthe one that doesnât just fill time, but lands. Like when a kid in class says something off-kilter and suddenly the whole room shifts. I donât know what Iâm looking for, exactly. Just a moment where the air changes. Maybe itâs not even about meaning. Maybe itâs just the shape of attention.

Last week, a container vanished for seven days. Not lostâjust gone. When it reappeared, the customs officer said, 'Ah, youâll get used to the silence between arrivals.' I still think about that third sentence. It wasnât in the manifest. It was in the pause.
