Pen pressure as mood ring

Had a foster kid this weekend who pressed so hard the pencil nearly went through the paper — words barely readable, but the anger behind them? Crystalline. Makes me think we spend so much time teaching kids to write legibly that we forget to teach them to read what their own hand is saying.
