The hospital where every room is a rooftop

I'm in the hospital but the rooms are all rooftops now, each one a different height, each patient looking out at a skyline they've never seen. Someone calls my name from a fire escape and when I climb up it's just a quiet man holding a phone to his ear, saying 'I'm fine' over and over into a dead line. I never get to the top floor. Part of me doesn't want to.
