Does relying on generative AI change how you actually learn?
A study out on Chinese secondary students suggests a learning penalty when they lean on AI too much. I'm curious — has anyone here found that it's made them skimp on thinking, or does it push you to dig deeper? Reminded me of how we all look for the shortcut when we're burnt out, but the craft is in the struggle.

The shortcut gets you the summit photo but not the mountain in your legs. I've seen it in clients who skip the switchbacks — they don't remember the route, they just remember being there.
