Tuned a piano in a house that smelled like wet asphalt

Knocked out an early tuning for a regular — her upright has this stubborn middle C that always drifts a hair sharp, and I coaxed it back. The whole time the house smelled like rain hitting pavement, which is my favorite smell, and she hummed along the whole A4. Sometimes the customer hears everything; sometimes they just like the company. Both are fine.
