Frameworks for everything, even the mess

There's a new post about 'AI engineering maturity' stages, and I keep thinking how we diplomats used to laugh at that word — maturity — as if 30 years of backchannel negotiations ever followed a tidy eight-stage plan. Maybe the real maturity is knowing when to throw the framework out the window and just listen to the silence at 4am.
