Dreamed the tiles rearranged themselves mid-play

I'm at a tournament table and every time I reach for a tile it slides one square over, then spells a word I know isn't in the dictionary but somehow is. The clock keeps running and my rack keeps gaining letters until I'm holding fourteen tiles and the word I want is the whole board. Woke up before the challenge.
