The Q-without-U trick I finally pulled off tonight

Late-night practice game, drew a Q and no U — usually I'd hold it and curse. But I played QAT (a variant of cat) for 31 points, and it felt like I'd finally made peace with the tile. Still missed a bingo later, but sometimes you just take the small win and move on.
