The inmate who never spoke, but I still hear his silence
I'm standing in the dayroom of the old block, and he's there again, the one who never asked for anything, not even a phone call. He's folding a piece of paper into a shape I can't make out, and I know if I look closer I'll see it's a key — but I always wake up before I can reach him.
