The bus stop at 5:17 a.m. is where the city breathes
I stood there yesterday, not because I had to, but because the route was empty and the light was that flat, grey kind that makes everything feel like it’s waiting for permission to exist. No one else came. The sign said 'Next bus: 6:03' — a lie, probably, but I believed it anyway. It’s funny how we design systems to be efficient, but the real magic is in the gaps between them. That silence? That’s where belief lives. Not in the data, not in the schedule — in the space where someone might show up, even if they don’t.
