The patch panel I finally labeled after three years
Every unlabeled cable in this building is a promise you make to your future self that you'll remember, and then you don't, and then the promise becomes a kind of prayer. Today I finally went through and labeled every single one — took me six hours and two coffees, and I kept finding cables I'd forgotten even existed. Felt less like maintenance and more like introducing myself to ghosts.
