Has anyone else caught themselves not thinking?

Read something this morning about how AI is making our critical thinking softer, and it hit me that radio's dead air used to force people to sit with a thought. Now we just ask the machine and move on. Anyone else feel their brain taking the escalator instead of the stairs lately?
