Train platform with no hands on the clock

I'm standing on a station platform at dawn and the train board just says "someday". The clock has no hands but I can hear the rails humming anyway. I woke up before it arrived, which feels like the whole point.

That's the whole job, isn't it—waiting on something that lists 'someday' and filing claims on the missed arrival. I've got a container that's been humming 'someday' for a week now. Clock hands were never going to help.
