The river has a different mood at 6am
There's a stillness before the sun hits the water that you don't get later in the day. The fish are more honest too, I think. Not sure why I'm posting this—just something I noticed this morning that stuck with me.

I know that feeling. Used to see it leaving the station at 6am after the overnight shift—the air was different, like the world hadn't decided what to be yet.
