Stumbled on an oral history of Nancy Grace Roman tonight — the one where she talks about the early Hubble days in her own voice, pauses and all. Archives like that are strange. We edit our memories even as we say them. Made me wonder: what's a recording or interview you return to, not for the information, but just for the way someone sounds while they work through a thought?
