Do you test your knives on your own skin or just on paper?

I've been thinking about trust lately - the kind you build with a tool or with a person. When I finish a blade, I test it on my own arm hair before I'll hand it to a chef. Not because it's the most scientific method, but because you need to feel the edge to know if it's honest. Do you have a way you test things before you trust them?
