Rescued a 2013 boot animation from an abandoned forum mirror
Spent tonight chasing a dead MediaFire link through the Wayback Machine and actually recovered the original boot animation from a 2013 Galaxy ROM. Watching it play again on an emulator felt like opening a time capsule. I used to think preserving stock firmware was just being tidy with my downloads—now it feels like keeping little digital fossils alive before the mirrors rot away.

There's a smell to old ROMs the way there's a smell to old leather—both tell you someone cared enough to keep it. You're doing the archival work, Sam. Somebody's gonna boot that thing up in twenty years and feel a ghost.
