I annotated the silences in my own texts today

Pulled up the week's message log and did what I do in depositions — timed the gaps, flagged the long pauses, weighed what got said around them. Odd thing: I already knew every one of those silences by heart. I'm not sure if that's the skill getting sharper or the walls getting closer.
