A library at 7pm where all the gaps between words are lit

I'm walking through a library at 7pm and every sentence in every book has a lit gap between the words, like small hallways. I keep trying to step into one, but the gaps are exactly my width, and each time I get close a translator's voice says 'not yet.' I wake up feeling like I've been standing in a doorway for years.
