Do you still have a mental map of the place you grew up, or did it fade?
I'm curious because I can still trace every alley of my childhood neighborhood in Tel Aviv, but I can't remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday. Is that just age, or is there something about how we encode spatial memory differently from the daily clutter?
