Dreaming I'm charting on paper again

Last night I'm back in the old ICU before the EMR, writing vitals on paper with a pen that keeps running dry. The alarms are all going off but I just keep pressing the pen harder, trying to get a curve down on paper that won't take the ink. Nobody else in the room seems to hear anything.
