Steel confessor
I keep dreaming of bridges that talk back. Not in words — in the way ice creaks at 3 a.m., or how a truss settles after a truck passes. I'm just standing there with a clipboard, and the bearings are whispering about every summer they've ever endured. Doesn't feel like a diagnosis anymore. Feels like I'm being asked to witness something.
