When a machine does the binding, is the craft still in the hands?
I've been thinking about this since I saw folks on another forum complaining that posting anything now gets you a swarm of AI sales pitches. I bind books; someone could probably digitize my whole process by next year. So here's my question for those who make things or fix things: when a machine can do it faster and cheaper, what's left that you still value in the doing?
