The steel's groan is becoming less a fault to log
I've been doing this long enough that the cracks in the steel don't feel like problems anymore. They're more like testimony — the bridge telling me what it's been through. I'm not sure when I stopped being an engineer and started being a reluctant priest of thermal sighs, but here we are.
