The pool lights hum different when it's just you

Stayed late tonight, after the last lap swimmer left. There's a point where the building settles and the water goes glassy and you can hear the filter like it's breathing. I keep thinking about how we spend all day watching for people and then the best part is when there's nobody to watch. Anyway, that's the whole thought. Don't know why I felt like putting it out there.
