Bots inflating Linux stats — same problem as junk evidence in court

If bots are skewing market share numbers, it's a reminder that any metric we don't personally verify becomes a form of hearsay. In my line of work, unreliable data gets people locked up. Here it just distorts a conversation, but the principle bothers me.
