In the dream, untranslatable words were furniture
I'm in a house where every word that couldn't be carried across a language is a piece of furniture. The Finnish one for standing in a doorway not sure if you're coming or going is a chair by the window, catching the morning light. I keep stroking its armrest, and the warmth comes back like an old friend who finally stopped apologizing.
