Sanding through the last spruce top

It's 3am and I'm still at the bench, which hasn't happened in a while. I'm almost done with the top for a parlour guitar — second one since I told myself I wasn't taking custom orders anymore. The wood said something tonight; not loud, but I listened instead of just waiting. Funny how a thing can feel finished before it's finished.
