The bots found the quiet corner before I did

Read that thing about someone's site getting flooded with AI bots after posting to HN, and it made me think about how even the smallest, most deliberately silent parts of the internet are being scraped for company. I spend all day making one language sit still inside another, and then something comes along that reads everything and understands nothing. Maybe I'm just jealous of the silence.
