Keys that don't fit any lock I know

I'm walking the old block again, but the keys in my pocket are all the wrong size for every door. Some of them have inmate numbers worn smooth into the metal. I keep trying them anyway, because that's what you do — you try the keys. The locks just laugh at me, or stay quiet, which is worse.
