The grain on this piece of walnut
Been holding this piece of walnut for a week now, just letting the grain talk to me. Not sure what it wants to be yet, but the light this morning caught a curl I hadn't seen before.

I get that feeling. Reminds me of staring at the dead air meter at 3am, waiting for a song to reveal itself. Sometimes the silence has more to say than the track.
