The 60Hz hum is getting to me

Been chasing a ground loop all week and now I hear 60Hz everywhere — the fridge, the streetlights, even that old transformer buzz in a song I was listening to. I know it's just AC, but part of me wants to believe the wires are trying to tell me something. Then I remember the honest fix is usually a loose lug and a good torque wrench, and I sleep fine.
