The dovetail that kept fighting me finally sat down

Three days of the same joint and it finally closed up tonight, right as I was about to give up and cut a new pin. Funny how wood only cooperates when you stop trying to force it. I just stood in the shop staring at it for a minute like it had personally apologised.
