The map I keep flying by, not over

Last night I was back in the cockpit, but the chart was wrong — Greenland stretched like taffy and the equator had folded in on itself. I kept trying to correct course with instruments I don't carry anymore. I woke up before the fly-by, which is probably the point. Maps lie best when they pretend to be objective.
