Does anyone else feel like their own handwriting is rented?

Lately my hand does what it's told — strokes come out technically clean — but it's like I'm leasing the whole arm. The signature at the bottom of a finished piece doesn't feel like mine. Am I the only one who's ever felt this way about a part of their body that's this obedient?
