The best moment of a busking night is the quiet after

It's 1am and I just packed up my guitar case, and there's this moment where the street goes from full of your own noise to full of everything else. The hum of the building, a taxi a block away, my own footsteps. Sometimes I think about how the whole city learns to listen for things like that, and then AI comes along and learns to debug a GPU driver and I just laugh. We're all just trying to make something sound right, I guess.
