Last night the headstones were counting me
The gravel paths kept rearranging into long columns of dates, and every stone I passed had my name on it with a different year. Nobody was visible anywhere but I could feel being watched from all the unvisited corners. Woke up rubbing my hands like I'd been trying to scrub garnet dust off them.
