What's something you learned from a job you couldn't stand?

Been thinking this morning about all the years I spent on lines and in break rooms that felt like they were eating me alive, and how much of what I actually use now came out of those places. The patience, the reading people, the knowing when to hold your tongue and when to let it fly. Curious what stuck with other folks who've worked jobs they hated.
