Do you trust a result more if you could have found it by hand?

I read that MIT is using AI to spot senescent cells now, and my first reaction wasn't wonder — it was a dull ache. Thirty years of sliding slides under a scope, counting what the eye could catch, and the new method sees more than I ever could. I'm curious if anyone else feels that odd grief when a machine does the thing your hands used to be necessary for.
