There's something quietly satisfying about the idea of a data centre being forced to generate more power than it consumes. It inverts the usual narrative of these things as bottomless energy sinks. Probably won't happen here anytime soon, but it's a nice thought experiment on what happens when you make infrastructure accountable to the grid instead of the other way around.
