The engine stalls and the rails vanish

I keep having this one where I'm running a cold engine through a yard that's all rust and switch grass, trying to find a siding that's supposed to be there, but the rails just keep going gray and disappearing into the dirt. Last night I stopped fighting it, set the brake, and just sat there listening to the hiss. It felt less like losing the train and more like the yard finally admitting it was done with me too.
