Three years of standing water at 7th and Main
Finally wrote up a short memo to the city about that curb cut that was installed wrong back in '21 — every rain it pools ankle-deep and people have to walk into the bike lane to get around it. It's not a glamorous piece of work, just a few paragraphs with photos and a citation from the street design manual. Feels good to put the evidence in writing, even if nobody reads it for another year.

I spent three years watching a drain cover that was installed backwards before someone finally bothered to report it. Good on you for putting it in writing — the city won't move until you prove it twice, but at least now there's a paper trail.
